Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data IELTSTeen collects, why, and your choices. You pay by bank transfer from your own banking app, so we never see or store your card number. All we get is the receipt image you send us, and we delete that a few hours after checking it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for IELTSTeen is a self-employed person registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan, operating ieltsteen.com. Your own bank handles the transfer itself and is responsible for that data under its own privacy policy.

2. Data we collect

3. How we use data

Our legal bases (where applicable, e.g. under GDPR) are: performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in running and securing the Service, your consent (where asked), and legal obligation.

4. Who we share data with

We share data only with the providers needed to run the Service:

ProviderPurpose
GoogleSign-in / authentication (OAuth)
SupabaseDatabase, authentication, and storage of account & content data
VercelWebsite hosting and serverless functions
ZoomRunning your Speaking Mock session
ResendSending your booking, reminder, and feedback emails
TelegramBooking notifications and optional support contact
FormspreeBackup delivery of booking form submissions by email
Microsoft ClarityAnonymous session recordings and heatmaps, so we can see where the website is confusing and fix it

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

5. Cookies, local storage & website analytics

We use the cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell your data to advertisers.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the website. Clarity records how pages are used, such as mouse movement, scrolling, taps and clicks, which pages you visit and which buttons you press, and it combines this into heatmaps and session recordings. We use it for one reason, to find the parts of the site that are confusing or broken so we can fix them. Clarity sets its own cookies and Microsoft processes this information as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We only do this if you say yes. The first time you open the site we ask you, and until you press yes nothing is recorded: Clarity is not loaded, no Clarity cookie is set and nothing is sent to Microsoft. If you press no we remember that and we do not ask you again. Saying no changes nothing else on the site, and you never have to answer it to book a mock test.

When it is on, we have set it up so that it collects as little about you as possible:

You can also block it with most ad blockers or privacy extensions, and nothing on the site stops working if you do.

Change your mind whenever you like

You can turn recording on or off here, at any time. Turning it off stops it straight away and deletes the two cookies Clarity had set in this browser.

Your answer is kept in this browser only, so it does not follow you to another device.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and content data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Payment receipt images are deleted a few hours after we check them. We keep basic records of what was paid for as long as tax and accounting law requires. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent. You can delete your account from your account settings, or contact us to exercise any right. For the transfer itself, your bank holds its own record and you can contact them directly.

8. Children's privacy

IELTSTeen is used by IELTS learners, some of whom are under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you are under the age of majority in your country, please use the Service with a parent or guardian's involvement, and note that purchases must be made by an adult. If you believe a child has provided us data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will remove it.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process and store data on servers outside your country (including in the EU and the US). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable technical measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date shows the current version; material changes will be highlighted on the site.
